Trajectory Secures $45M Series A to Automate Continuous AI Model Training for Enterprises

Founded by former Google DeepMind and Apple engineers, Trajectory raised $45 million at a $300 million valuation led by Sequoia to help models learn from feedback without expensive consultants.

Trajectory, an 18-person startup established by Stanford alumni with roots at Google DeepMind and Apple, has closed a $45 million Series A funding round at a $300 million valuation. The round was led by Sequoia, with participation from Nvidia, Bessemer Venture Partners, and Bain Capital Ventures.

Addressing the core limitation that foundation models do not inherently learn from their mistakes without extensive retraining, Trajectory aims to automate continuous improvement for specialized domains like law and finance. By removing the need for internal research teams or costly forward-deployed engineers (FDEs), the startup enables businesses to seamlessly fine-tune and adapt AI models using ongoing feedback loops.
