Ballistic Ventures Seeks $490M for New Funds Amid AI Cybersecurity Boom

Co-founded by industry veteran Ted Schlein, cybersecurity VC firm Ballistic Ventures has filed to raise $360M for its flagship fund and $130M for Fund B.

San Francisco-based cybersecurity venture capital firm Ballistic Ventures is moving to raise $490 million across two fresh funding vehicles, according to regulatory filings with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission.

The firm filed to secure $360 million for its third flagship fund alongside an additional $130 million for Ballistic Ventures Fund B. This fundraising push arrives as the rapid deployment of artificial intelligence and autonomous AI agents triggers concerns over highly sophisticated cyberattacks, driving heavy investor interest into defensive security startups.
